How Often Should a Computer Cleanup be Done?

Computer Cleanups are one of the simplest and most common IT tasks that can improve efficiency and performance for any size of business. The question, however, is how often should a computer cleanup be done? A related question would be who we recommend for Anti-Virus software. We also have a detailed process that goes into each cleanup that consists of five parts.

How often? – This question is best answered with the fact that it depends on a few factors which determine how often a computer cleanup should be done. We typically recommend a cleanup every 2-6 months depending on the size of your company and how often your systems are used or strained. A minimum recommendation would be once a year. Every few months, however, can make a huge difference and keep your systems running smooth.

There are many great Anti-Virus solutions out there but with our experience over the years, Bitdefender is the best.
